Straight and Narrow is a country duo, childhood friends who grew up together in Davie, Florida, a small South Florida town known for its horse culture: cowboy hats, old-Western storefronts, and one of the only rodeos left in South Florida. After high school they split onto separate paths, each chasing their own version of who they would become, before converging years later in Nashville and realizing the road had always been leading to the same place. They identify as country because of their heritage and they are proud of it, but they are not genre purists. Dead Broke, for instance, is their own love letter to Hip Hop.
